Founded in 2014 by Lionel Obadia and David Mimouni, Design Market is a French startup born through the encounter between two universes: vintage design and the digital world.
While surfing the web overnight for a 1950's Charles Eames chair, Lionel came up with the fresh idea to pool within a single website original and authentic pieces of furniture from the best European galleries.
His entrepreneurial and enthusiastic spirit were quickly backed up by the community of 20th century dealers and collectors and in 2015, the leading French business monthly “Challenges” listed Design Market in the top 100 company list in which to invest.
